Casa Aquina, a wood and stone dwelling in Morelos, Mexico. Increasingly, I’m finding that all the cribs I want to live in are south of the border. I would expect no less from a country smart enough to keep the VW bug alive. Sculp(it) - Belgum Excellent use of limited space, also would fulfill my bizarre to live in a) a box, and v) a cave. Who doesn’t need a stuffed zebra? Director Roland Emmerich, gets jiggy with it…

They’re doin it in the jungle. Somewhere, right now, someone makin Makoy. Not too long ago, I retreated to a quaint fishing village on a steamy Island somewhere south of here, bury the toes in the sand and such. Eventually, my curiosity led to some fortuitous mixing with the locals, and I soon found myself posted at a small clearing in a big jungle. This here is the ‘Cook Up’ Here the locals were making a day of conjuring a pot of something traditional and timeless, the Makoy. Since time immemorial …
