I love seeing a little hand-eye involved in the manufacture of things. I’ve always been just as fascinated with the person who designs the process, as with the person who designs the thing. I remember touring a bread factory as a kid, and annoying every adult within a 20 foot radius to go more in-depth about the machine that put the twisties on the bread bags. Some guy sat down and figured out how to make a machine put the twisty on, and that guy doesn’t get enough shine.
