So I woke up this morning and tumbled down the street toward the Sangenjaya train station. I was sans fixie cause I stayed at my girls pad last night and she didn`t want to catch the taxi home from Kinfolk alone. But thanks to that little act of sweet selfishness, I was able to find a treasure trove of tight little backstreets on the way to the station via foot. Tokyo just saw an incredible battle that took place the weekend before the Obama/McCain standoff. It was in a club and consisted of 5 girls versus 5 guys, all with iPods. I wanted to bring my PSP along with me but the event was called an iPod Battle night (tho not sponsored by Mac because they don`t sponsor jack) so, I left it at home calm in the knowledge that it would be safe under my pillow eagerly awaiting my return. They say that Japanese people really know a thing or two about rice. Its also been said that the guys who drive these ultra right wing trucks all over Japan, especially on public holidays, like to eat alot of Japonica (Japanese Rice) in support of the farmers who grow it.
